5 Questions To Start the Work Week Strong

Be intentional about starting your week strong. Successful people take some time to plan out their week; prioritizing activities, events, and relationships. Sometimes it's a simple list of what needs to be done. This week I want to challenge your thinking and ask you to categorize your list a little differently. This week I want you to consider what you need to know, grow, sew, show and where you need to go, both personally and professionally.
The 5 questions to start the work week strong:
  1. Know. What additional information do you need to know to perform your work? Where will you get this information: a person, a website, a book? If you don't need any additional information for yourself, is there additional information your people need to perform their work? How will you equip them to get that information?

  2. Grow. What do you need to grow this week? What are you building; a business, a career, a relationship? What investment of time will be required and when?

  3. Sew. Like planting seeds, what ideas or thoughts do you need to sew with others to reap a future harvest? Many times we know we have the best idea, but others may need some time to come to the same realization. What seeds can you plant with them this week to help them along?

  4. Show. What leadership qualities do you need to demonstrate this week? Vision setting? Goal setting? What do your people need to see from you to keep them motivated and committed?

  5. Go. What area in your life do you need to just move forward and do something? Maybe you've gathered all the information you need. You know what you need to do and you know why you need to do it, now it's time to just move forward. What is one step you can take to begin making progress in that area?
When you answer these questions, take time to write down your answers including any activities you need to note on the calendar. Begin your week strong every week by answering these 5 questions and watch your performance and results soar!
